Internet Marketing Tips - Physical Or Digital Products?

By Steven Wagenheim

A lot of people ask me if it's better to sell physical products online or stick with digital. The honest answer is, there is no such thing as better. Each one is going to have its pros and cons. What it comes down to, after examining these pros and cons, is what is better for you. In this article, I'm going to briefly cover the pros and cons of selling digital and physical products online. Hopefully, after reading this, you will be able to make an informed decision on which way you want to go.

Let's start with physical products. With a physical product, such as a CD or DVD or even a hard cover book, the one great benefit of selling this type of product is that people love things that they can actually hold in their hands. They get a feeling of real value when they purchase a physical product. So you'll probably have an easier time, in some cases, of making a sale with a physical product.

Selling a physical product also will, in many cases, cut down on refunds. For most people, it's a real hassle to have to send back a product. So unless there is something really wrong with it, they're not going to take the time to do this.

The problems with selling physical products, however, are many. The biggest problem is the shipping cost. In some parts of the world, assuming that you're not limiting your sales to just the United States, or wherever you're living, can be quite high. Plus, there is the hassle of having to ship the items to begin with. If you're doing a large volume, this can be numerous trips to the post office or UPS. Certainly there is more work involved with selling physical products, such as packing and shipping.

One other thing about physical products. Because the cost of making a physical product is greater, you either have to charge more for it or accept a smaller profit margin. This is another drawback to selling physical products.

With digital products, there is no shipping. Download is immediate and you can make a ton of sales in a short period of time and literally do no physical work at all. Plus, many customers like the ability to get a product right away instead of having to wait for it to come in the mail.

However, with digital products, as easy as it is to get them, it is just as easy to return them. The refund rates for digital products are much higher than for physical products.

So, as you can see, there is no perfect world. Physical and digital products both have their good and bad. What it comes down to is your preference. At least now you can make an informed decision.

To YOUR Success,

Steven Wagenheim

Why Your Website Needs Managed Linux Hosting

By Lee A. Smith

Managed hosting is a type of outsourcing to ensure that your business websites function correctly 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Outsourced hosting is a necessity for many commercial organisations, as IT knowledge is usually minimal and the costs are significantly higher to host in-house and therefore outsourcing is essential to guarantee that server uptime is almost one hundred percent.

There is a large number of hosting companies offering managed hosting to various clients from all over the world. Many hosting companies provide their services through dedicated servers and the server uptime is almost one hundred percent. Leased servers are also available from some of the hosting companies exclusively for many businesses that require dedicated applications or database applications. Hosting service providers also manage hardware maintenance and network security, bandwidth and site monitoring.

Websites generally require managed hosting for smooth functioning of the website and any application or email traffic that is necessary.

There are generally two types of hosting - one is Windows hosting and other Linux hosting. There are several advantages of managed hosting and depending on the requirements, suitable hosting can be selected for a specific website. Generally a team of professionals looks after the managed hosting and it is good for you to find a reputable and honest company that offers their outsourcing services at the most cost effective rates. Many new companies are coming up in this high growth sector area and you have to ensure that you balance price with professionalism and server infrastructure.

A commercial, managed hosting company provides detailed IP addresses of website visitors during the entire month as well as also providing visiting trends, anti virus, spam control and daily backups. Website statistics or analytics are very useful, especially for commercial websites. Many Windows and Linux hosting providers offer full database support and this is vital to the stability of your websites applications.

Linux hosting provides many features and many people prefer it to Windows hosting. All commercial service providers generally have twenty four hour customer support through phone or email and provide a personal control panel for easy and efficient administration.

Service providers have support in almost all areas such as Perl, PHP, MySQL, CGI bin, SSH access and Python. Some additional features such as POP, SMTP, Webmail, Anonymous FTP connections and FrontPage extensions may also be provided to the customers.

Service providers have dedicated IP addresses and excellent database support and therefore in our opinion Linux hosting provides many additional features. So, it is necessary for large commercial organizations and business houses to go for managed hosting as it provides not only hosting in a dedicated server, but all types of customer support that is required for smooth running of the website. Although Windows and Linux hosting are available, in our opinion Linux hosting is a better option.

Bulk Email Campaigns in Internet Marketing

By Andre Sanchez

Bulk email campaigns can be used in internet marketing to drive traffic to your website that you would not otherwise have had. They can also be used to help build up your personal emailing list.

There are two major forms of bulk email campaign: those in which the email is distributed to your own list, and those distributed by a third party to email list of their own. The latter can be either a subscription service, or each emailing paid for individually, and it these that we shall look at here. Bulk emailing to your own list is another topic, and is fundamental to internet marketing success. However, it can take time to build up a decent seized list, and many feel the need to pay for email campaigns until their own list is big enough to be profitable.

Many seasoned internet veterans have lists of hundreds of thousands, or even millions, and it is that type of list which is very profitable since even a small percentage return from the list equates to a considerable sum of money. However, let us look at the pros and cons of third party bulk email campaigns.

Many of these emailing service providers claim your email to reach millions of address boxes. The truth of this is difficult to establish, since they would take a long time to count manually! However, even hundreds of thousands of email addresses is a large number. Many also claim them to be targeted, though it is difficult to see how this can be. They are probably targeted to a wide ranging topic, such as ‘Health & Fitness’, so that somebody interested in a cure for halitosis is classified along with a bodybuilder seeking a supplement to pack on pounds of solid muscle.

Or even broader is a classification named simply ‘Internet’! The addresses on these commercial lists are usually of people who have agreed to open emails in return for cash or for free adverts. Therefore, while claims of least a 10% open rate may not be exaggerated, the vast majority will be closed almost immediately. Many such systems require the email to be opened for a minimum period of time, frequently 30 seconds, for the reward to be paid. You have that long, therefore, to catch their eye.

Although the recipients of each campaign have a very wide range of interests, and are being rewarded in some way for opening the email, they are still likely involved in marketing in some form or another, especially if they are doing it in return for free advertising of their own products or services. You might still, therefore, have something that is of interest to them. It then comes down to numbers.

Advertising is very much a numbers game. If you email goes to a mass audience of one million, and you are guaranteed at least 10% will open it due the reward scheme, then you will have 100,000 people looking at your email. If even only 1% of these read it through, that will be 1000 people reading about your website or your product.

If only 1% buy something that will be 10 sales from your bulk email campaign. Since you can run such a campaign every day that, on average, amounts to 300 sales a month from each campaign. Run several campaigns at a time for different products and you can work it out for yourself. You only need 0.001% of your original mailing to make a purchase to attain 300 sales every month.

Bulk email campaigns can be a profitable internet marketing strategy, although you should check out the program that you use very carefully before parting with money. Some are better than others, and forums and chat boards are a good way of finding the information you seek. If you make the right choice, it can be a very profitable strategy.

Points To Consider When Joining An Affiliate Network As A Publisher

By Nigel M

You have spent many hours slaving away building your dream website and now you want to make an income from it. Selling affiliate products is probably, by far the easiest way to earn an income online. With affiliate products you refer a buyer or potential buyer to a merchant's website where they can purchase a good or service. The visitor is tracked through an affiliate network and if a sale is made, a commission or percentage of the sale is paid to you for your trouble.

Which Network To Choose

As with all industries there are reputable and non reputable companies that operate in the sector. The hard part is working out whether the affiliate network company is trustworthy or not. As affiliate networks are internet based businesses, some companies may try to hide behind the invisible cloud and operate in a dishonest manner. However the internet is a powerful resource. Before joining an affiliate network do some research on the net. You may find good and bad reports written by others about their experiences with various companies. It is better to learn from the mistakes of others than having to suffer an ill fate yourself.

Fees

Most affiliate networks allow publishers to join for free. If the affiliate network is asking you for a fee, assess the following:
1. How much is the fee.
2. Is the fee recurring or is it a one off registration.
3. How long do you think it will take you to recoup the fee you have paid to join. If the fee is only a few dollars, it won’t take long. If the fee is $50 per month you will need to ensure you are generating enough sales to cover this cost, or you will be making a loss before you start.
4. Are the merchants that are affiliated with this network worth the fee, or are the same merchants available on another network that is free to join.

Available Merchants

Before joining an affiliate network you should be able to review the merchants they have on their books. It is important to check the merchants available as these will be the businesses you will promoting on your website. Are the merchants that are available selling products that are inline with the genre of your site. You need to keep asking yourself, if I was the site visitor, would I be interested in buying the item that you are advertising for sale? Or is the item totally unrelated to the rest of the site. Some affiliate networks are quite specific with the type of merchants they advertise, for example merchants from the financial sector.

Getting Paid

This is the most important item to check as money in the bank is the whole idea of selling the products. Some affiliate networks require you to make a minimum amount in commissions before they will make a payment to you. This can be as low as $30 in some cases. Some affiliate networks pay fortnightly and others pay monthly if the minimum amount has been earned. This is important so you can budget you cash flow.

You can easily make a comfortable income by selling products through an affiliate network. The advantages of this include the fact you do not have to worry about guaranteeing the product, product returns or customer complaints. Just ensure you research the affiliate networks before promoting their products.

Flexible Hours - Marketing Turnkey Collaboration

By Kevin R. Guthrie

What are we talking about when we say flexible hours marketing turnkey collaboration? Simply the nuts and bolts of it is a turnkey business opportunity that offers you the flexibility to work when you want or when you feel that you have time.

The turnkey business opportunity is a business that for many is a necessity. With our busy schedules there is not much hope of running a full time internet website, at least not in the beginning. This is where the collaboration or teamwork comes in and allows the flexible hours that is needed by many in the working world.

This cash generating system is set up to run like a Wal-mart. As most of us already know Wal-mart neither makes or sells any of their own products; however, they are one of the wealthiest companies in the world. The way they make their money is by distributing the products of the big companies and making a commission on these sales.

This is how your turnkey business opportunity will work as well. You will have your own site that has proven to be a cash generating and marketing winner.

Your site comes with the best designed graphics, a sales page written to have even the most frugal of customers pulling out their wallets faster than you can say, "make mine a caffÈ mocha cappuccino with extra chocolate syrup".

Then the products on the site are provided by some of the biggest companies on the internet. These products have proven through marketing to be hot sellers and what the public is wanting and willing to pay for.

What will have you "walking in high cotton" is the fact that for every product sold from your site you will receive a whopping 75 percent commission. Just so were on the same page; that means when someone buys a $100 dollar product from your site that is $75 dollars cash to fatten your wallet with.

This is where the flexible hours, marketing turnkey collaboration begins to shine. All of the fundamental parts of the business are handled for you. For example, you will not ever receive customers questions or emails.

There will be no phone calls. The great part is that there will be no products to wrap, package, or ship. At no time will you need to carry an inventory in your home. Again all this is done for you.

As you can see the flexible hours, marketing turnkey collaboration and the turnkey business opportunity work together for those whose schedule may not allow the time necessary to manage a website on a full-time basis.

Are you wanting to lose that j.o.b.? The time is now: See what your missing,

Affiliate Revenue - 7 Outstanding Steps to Excel at Affiliate Revenue

By Sean R Mize

Today there are 101 ways to earn money online, and one of them is through affiliate marketing. But how will you do that effectively?

1. Promote your affiliate products effectively. There are 2 known ways to do that: SEO and PPC. With PPC, you get prime spots in major search engines while earning for every click that redirects visitors to your website. On the other hand, SEO is free that offers a lot of good methods. The most important thing is you get to promote relevant keywords and phrases. The more effective your SEO technique is, the better you rank in search engines.

2. Only promote products that are in demand. Products that don’t have enough customer base isn’t only difficult to market but they are also hard to sell.

3. Use your existing site in doing affiliate programs. Your marketing technique can gain a lot of advantage because of the traffic and age of your present site. Thus, it takes time too to be ranking pretty well in SERPs (search engine result pages).

4. Choose only one or a handful of affiliate products and programs to promote. This gives you better keyword concentration and your site can simply revolve into one general idea.

5. If you can, use or purchase an existing domain. Generally, it takes 9 months or so before search engines can fully trust on your domain. An existing domain name can help you cut down the time span.

6. Diversify your marketing technique. There are a lot of marketing techniques that you can do for your affiliate programs, and accomplishing a number of them will help better your chances of getting traffic to your site.

7. Choose an affiliate program with proven track record. Building customer trust takes a long time, but if the program is already well established, it wouldn’t be hard for you to convince them to patronize yours.

5 Simple Steps to Skyrocket Your Website Traffic in as Little as 30 Days For Free

By Tom Trush

Step 1: Write and distribute articles. Publishing articles online using a free service such as EzineArticles or Articlesbase will help boost your search engine ranking, making you more accessible to prospects who search terms related to your industry. Search engines love content-rich websites that are updated often.

In addition, the more you have other websites linking back to your website, the better chances you have for higher search engine placement. Article distribution services help this cause by making it easy for publishers to upload your writing for use in their newsletters or websites, meaning any links to your website reach an even larger audience.

Step 2: Use the link building and link exchange approach. As stressed in Step 1, the more text links you have directed to your website, the better chance you have of receiving higher search engine placement. So make it your objective to get your website listed on as many relevant websites as possible.

If you want to make this task really simple, there are companies such as Professional Link Building that will provide you with relevant links back to your website for free. As a bonus, your home page will be indexed on Google within 48-72 hours.

Step 3: Write and distribute press releases. Not only is a properly written press release a cost-effective and efficient means for getting your news to a large audience, it can help drive traffic to your website, especially when circulated online. A distribution service can help deliver your press release to a wide online audience.

Companies such as PRLeap will even distribute your release for free. You’ll always want to include your website’s URL in any press release. That way whenever it’s posted online, you’ll have another one-way link back to your website.

Step 4: Make use of social media. If you haven’t done so already, create a blog for posting articles, press releases and news about your business. There are multiple ways for creating your first blog – one of the easiest options is Blogger. Best of all, it’s free. With Blogger, you can be online in less than five minutes. Once your blog is functional, be sure to visit Technorati to “claim” your blog. This will help with your search engine ranking and make it easier for online visitors to find your postings.

Also, why not create videos to help promote your company and demonstrate your knowledge? Today’s technology has made creating and sharing videos easy … and free. Check out YouTube or Google Video to post and help generate ideas for your next video. (While you’re making a video, you may want to consider creating a podcast as well.)

Step 5: Post comments in forums. Do you frequently have an opinion for just about any topic? Use this trait to your advantage by seeking out forums with information similar to the topics covered on your website. Post your comments and include a link back to your website in your signature.

The increasing popularity of social media makes it as easy as ever to find articles, blog postings, videos and podcasts. Again, check out Technorati as well as websites such as Digg and ContentPop for information you can comment on that is relevant to the topics on your website.

* Due to link restrictions, URLs are not included with many of the suggested websites. A simple Google search for the websites mentioned in this article should reveal the URLs.

How To Find An Ethical Search Engine Marketing Company

By Philip Shaw

It's a dog-eat-dog marketplace out there. The web is teeming with millions of websites and yours is just another one of them. To rise above and ahead of this cut-throat competition, you need to work with an effective search engine marketing company that can put your website up among the top results in relevant keyword searches and help you reach out to your target audience.

Search engine marketing is vital for improving your site’s conversion rate, attracting relevant traffic and maximising your Return on Investment (ROI).

Search engine optimisation is not an overnight job. It is a highly specialised and time consuming task. It may take months to get the desired results. Although search engines issue broad guidelines, no one can say with certainty exactly how search engines rank websites. A professional SEO company has a good understanding of search engine behavior and experience in successfully achieving top ranking websites to advise you about the competition, ingredients, mechanisms and strategies that can be employed to make your website visible, frequently visited and a revenue generator.

The top 3 search engines, Google, Yahoo! and MSN, receive over 1.2 billion searches daily! Unless you use the correct search engine optimisation techniques with your website, you will not rank high with the search engines. Here is where the services of a professional search engine marketing company to handle your SEO campaign may help to deliver the desired results.

Search engines are strict about ethics

Search engines are clear in their guidelines about what they like and what they don’t like. A good search engine optimisation company uses the specific sets of criteria laid down by search engines and their expertise gained over the years about what has worked in the past to increase the rankings of your site.

The SEO steps that abide by the search engine guidelines are called ethical and practices that are not approved by search engine guidelines are unethical.

Because search engines operate in an automated way, it is possible for webmasters to use methods not approved by search engines for better ranking. But these unethical attempts are fraught with risks.

Once your site is caught using unethical practices and banned by search engines, it will take a long time and a significant amount of effort to rank high in search engines again. Some SEO companies may use unethical practices to get high rankings of your website, but the results are only temporary. In fact they are devaluing your site.

Unethical search engine marketing companies do not consider the long term and want to show quick results to impress you. Hence, it is important to find an ethical SEO company that will ensure sustainable high search engine rankings.

Unethical SEO Practices

It's disheartening that many companies claim to be in top rankings of search engine but the truth is many of them are hype.

If you’re serious about your business, don’t try to bluff the search engines. The unethical practices will be caught eventually, leaving your website far behind the competition.

Unethical practices used by search engine optimisation companies include:

Keywords stuffing: Unnecessary repetition of keywords in the content

Page swapping: A highly unethical practice where a webmaster copies a page from a high-ranking website, changes the title and description META tags, then submits this page to the search engines. Once a ranking is obtained, they replace the stolen page with one of their own web pages.

Copyright violation: Copying content of other websites without permission.

Irrelevant link exchange: Establishing reciprocal links with irrelevant websites for the sole purpose of increasing the number of links to your website.

How to select an ethical SEO company

Here are some tips for selecting an ethical SEO Company:

Learn the basics of SEO: Study some basics of website promotion and search engine optimisation (SEO) techniques so that it will not be a new concept to you. These can be accessed easily on internet. Just spend little time to your research.

Does it sound too good? Be wary if an SEO company offers ultra quick results. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is unethical. Both time and efforts are involved in the SEO process. There are no short cuts.

Evaluate your needs: Evaluate which SEO program best fits your needs. You can evaluate this by checking sales conversions, log reports, and so on. You must discuss your objectives with the SEO services provider then analyze yourself, how good it would be for serving your purpose.

Guarantee: Make sure that the search engine marketing company gives you some level of guarantee for their services. But, be wary of companies that offer a #1 ranking guarantee. No one has that much control over Google, and it is a sure sign that they may use unethical practices.

Experience: Check the industry experience of the people behind the company and also get feedback from the references given.

Strategies: When you choose to optimise your website, you need to look at the methodology a search engine optimisation company would be using. Ask the SEO company about the strategies they are going to use to optimise your website...

Cost: You usually get what you pay for. An offer for 500 links for $29 is a possible sign of unethical practices.

You need to keep in mind these few points while you research SEO services for your website. Return on investment (ROI) can depend on several factors, such as the size of your market place, geographical target area, the sales value of your products/services and the number of people searching online for your products/services.

Searching for an authentic ethical SEO company is a time consuming task. But remember that it’s not simply enough to only achieve better search engine rankings. Your website needs to be designed in a way to ensure you convert your visitors into buyers to boost your sales and revenues and increase your brand recognition.

If you are wondering how to find an ethical SEO company, visit, a leading SEO and PPC services provider in Sydney, Australia. It has clearly outlined processes involved in search engine marketing in specific and easy-to-understand detail.

Philip Shaw is the Director of CleverClicks, a leading Australian search engine marketing company, providing result-oriented SEO and PPC services.

By Sean R Mize

With the emergence of the newest and latest in Internet Technology and the amalgamation of the human intelligence and natural resources, things for people need to be instantly made and done. With this modern age, everything should be in accordance with the fastest turn around time, with considerations on some areas that need further diagnosis. But for areas like a reply on an e-mail or to an inquiry, the time that it requires is almost instantaneously required. This is the reason why a lot of businesses are forging their resource in order to respond to this emerging requirement – thus the birth of autoresponders. Effective autoresponders are based from the common idea of supplying responses at a given time. To effectively do that, the following techniques are suggested:

• In order to avoid sounding too robotic on your autoresponder, it is suggested that you come up with several auto replies or auto responded messages to fit into the claim of the e-mail sender. Try to make the autoresponder message a little personal to make sure that the recipient does not think it comes from a mechanical robot.

• Make sure, too, that autoresponders are delivered on a scheduled basis. This is to make sure that all e-mail messages or inquiries are given answers to their inquiries at a certain period of time. This method also allows making your auto response looking like coming from a robot.

• Since, today’s technology is accompanied by issues and problems like spamming, make sure that you include on your autoresponder message a note on how they can deactivate the sending of these auto responses to make sure that your company will not be reported to be doing spamming act.

Time Is Money

By Irene Boston

Shakespeare's Richard III may have been referring to the battle of Bosworth Field when he said "Tomorrow is a busy day" but we can all relate to those days when your office seems to have declared a state of war! Your desk is hidden beneath piles of paper, there are several 'to-do' lists of varying degrees of urgency, your email inbox is overflowing and the phone doesn’t stop ringing.

After hours of struggling through all this, you may think you’ve spent a long, productive day and achieved a great deal. But did you actually get paid for any of it? Did you make any profit? Was any of this work actually for a client? There’s a tremendous difference between the time you spend chained to the keyboard and the hours which actually generate income. At first there’ll be far more of the former and not nearly enough of the latter! The trick is to balance the two but starting a new business can mean long hours and Herculean effort for very little reward.

One aspect of working from home which I can’t imagine anyone misses is commuting. Both in terms of cost and time wasted, no longer having to travel to work releases you to put in far more productive hours. However, it can also lead to a tendency to work incredibly long hours, not all of which turn out to be revenue producing. Don’t get me wrong – no hour spent marketing and networking your VA business is a wasted one. Far from it. We should all earmark a number of hours each week for marketing, but make sure it’s a structured effort. List a set of goals each week and be disciplined about it.

One of the first things you must do in any business is aim to achieve a certain number of billable hours each month. Put crudely, you must work out how much income you need. Then work out your overheads – in other words, just how much your business costs you to run each month. Calculate everything from electricity and stationery costs to advertising and insurance. Once you have that figure, anything over and above that amount is profit and it’s up to you to work out how much profit you need in order to make a living. But don’t forget the tax man will come calling for a chunk of that profit as well.

Having calculated your income needs, you’ll soon realise just how many billable hours are needed. To achieve that, the temptation is to work every single hour of the day. Some people are workaholics and can do this quite easily but there will come a point for everyone when you’re no longer being productive. Try to strike a balance between your home life, your business and your health.

Planning is essential to maintain some kind of sanity and flexibility in your life. Prioritise tasks so you can manage your time more effectively. Work for clients must obviously come first. No client will thank you or return with more business if you miss an all-important deadline. Allocate yourself 'office' hours – these can vary day by day or week by week. They can be dictated by the hours you want to work or by the needs of your clients. However, it’s essential that at the end of the day, you leave your desk and close your office door. This discipline of switching off, not only the computer but your mind, can be very difficult. Look upon the walk to the kitchen or the lounge as your commuting for the day.

It’s important to strike a balance between the hours you spend marketing, dealing with paperwork, 'housekeeping' your computer files and emails, or learning new software, (fiddling as my husband calls it!) and the hours you spend working for clients. After all, it’s only the latter who will actually pay your bills.

Starting A Home Business - Only The Strong Survive

By Earl Stringer and Rachel Bishop

Starting a home business can be a daunting task. With so many do's and don'ts, here's and there's, one can get overwhelmed in the process. In this article you will learn three very important tips that will get you off to a good productive start. The reason that many home business owners fail is not the lack of knowledge, but the lack of endurance and focus needed to succeed in this competitive world that we live in. Applying the following tips to your business will benefit the birth and the growth of your home business.

Listed below are the three tips and a brief description about how using each one can and will improve your home business.

1 . Arm Yourself - Arm yourself with as many resources and tools as you can before starting your business. Learn everything you can concerning your business from start up cost to potential earning capacity; crunch those numbers! Figure out all of the supplies that you will need to start your home business such as a computer, stationery, pens, staplers, cell phones and even space. Take time to search the internet for anything dealing with your particular niche. Read of articles that talk about the business that you are about to embark on. Print out these articles and highlight all of the things that you find useful. Strap yourself with as much knowledge as you can while having helpful email addresses and phone numbers at your finger tips. Be sure to have easy access to all of your tools and resources. Get everything organized; it will make things go a lot smoother.

2. Study Your Competition - Let’s be honest, the chances of your business not having some sort of competition is slim. This is why you need to find your competition and study them. Look at what they are doing as well as what they have done. Find out where they can approve at, as well as where they are excelling at. Study their campaign ads, compare prices and even try their products and or services to get an even better understanding of how they work. After doing all of these things, see how you can incorporate you findings into your own business. By doing this you will eventually dominate your competition, producing more revenue for your own home business.

3 . Get Rid Of Failure Being An Option - This is actually one of the first things that you must do. This is also one of the most difficult things to do. See, as great as it may sound, and as potentially great as it could be; starting your own home business takes a lot of work. It will take some studying and some patience, some trial and some error. There will be some obstacles and some set backs to over come, but you will over come them. It will be well worth it. If you think that you will fail, you probably will; therefore, get rid of the thought altogether. Focus on where you want to be and you will eventually get there.

Why Network Marketing Could Be the Best Business Model Ever Introduced

By Jacob Adelman

Have you ever thought about why people go into Network Marketing? Maybe because it just might be the best business model ever. Please allow me to explain!

Let's compare Big Corporate to Network Marketing:

In Big Corporate, there is only one President, and a new one can only be chosen after the first one leaves. In Network Marketing, everyone can attain the top level. In my MLM, the top level is Diamond, and with working smart, proper marketing, and persistence, everyone that joins can reach Diamond level.

However, Big Corporate is a true Pyramid Scheme. If the lowest level workers move up, the pyramid crumbles. The highest level in Corporate cannot allow the lowest level to move up.

In most Corporate environments, helping others succeed does not occur. What occurs are people trying to secure their own position, and they feel threatened by others below them in the organization that are aggressive, do well, and want to move up.

In Network Marketing, this situation does not occur. Everyone wants their downline to be aggressive, do well, and move up. This is how money is earned in Network Marketing, and explains why Big Corporate is a true Pyramid Scheme.

In Big Corporate, only the very top levels are earning money from the hard work of others. The lower levels do not. And the lowest level can only maybe get cost of living raises each year, if they are lucky.

In Network Marketing, anyone with a downline, small or big, is making money from the hard work of others. Each person involved in Network Marketing has their own business. The business model is sell product to anyone and everyone. Your Network Marketing business leverages the size of your downline. Remember, you earn on every action your downline does. When your downline buys product for their own use, you make money. When your downline sells product retail, you make money. And when your downline signs up new recruits, you make money.

In Corporate, the corporation pays payroll taxes, unemployment taxes, health and dental insurance, retirement, and other benefits. Guess what? In Network Marketing, you make money on every action your downline does, and you pay none of these benefits.

In Network Marketing, you do not have to handle product. Your MLM Corporate will handle all the product shipments. They will also handle all of the money collection. And, they will also handle the payment of commissions to your downline.

Can anyone think of any business model that works better than this? If so, please let me know.

Why They Don't Tell You What's Wrong With Buying MLM Leads

By Joe LoBalsamo

I got up today and said to myself. Their are too many people who are failing at network marketing. So I decided to write to you today and do my best to shed some light on why this is. Mlm leads that network marketing reps are buying are not what they should be buying in the first place. So why do their upline and coaches tell them to buy mlm leads from lead vendors so they can start building their business? My opinion is that they don't know any better themselves. That's what they were taught to do. Then that person goes out and teaches them to do the same.

The fact is that buying mlm leads from lead companies is not duplicable and not everyone likes cold calling them. So by duplicating this to your downline, you are setting your network marketing business up for failure. Many network marketers own a lot of these lead companies and are making a big profit off network marketers who buy mlm leads from them. Let me say that their are just a few good lead companies out there that I used to use when I was buying mlm leads and making cold calls back in the day. I actually recruited over 150 people from cold calling. However none duplicated!! Using leads companies I think is more effective if you are doing direct sales, were you get paid once for a product or service. However to attempt to go and teach someone on your team to duplicate buying mlm leads and cold calling is highly unlikely.

I believe personally that you must have total control over all your marketing efforts when doing network marketing. When you buy mlm leads from lead companies you have no idea were or how they are generated for you. What lead capture pages they use. You never really know how many people this same mlm leads was distributed to. Also none of the mlm leads you buy from lead companies have any experience in network marketing. So why would you buy them? Lead companies give some kind of idea about the mlm lead generation process. However when it comes down to it, you just have to trust them. Also if your lead company goes out of business, you are left searching for another lead company.

Now without buying mlm leads you are left with the task of generating mlm leads yourself. Yes this is an additional workload as a rep, but there are many benefits to this method of growing your network marketing business this way that far supersede the former. Why? When your doing your own mlm lead generation, you know exactly where the lead came from, what type of form they filled out, where they came from, exactly how much these mlm leads cost, and most importantly how many people this lead was distributed to (Only you). You know what lead capture page you send them to. You know what page they opted to and what information their looking to learn about.

This gives you the power of leverage when it comes to do your own mlm lead generation. Do not underestimate the power this gives you in your network marketing business. You will be in complete control of you marketing and your mlm leads generation. Wouldn't that make you feel much better? Because your in control, you will know all the statistics when it comes to build profitable network marketing business. You can adjust your marketing effort so you know how many mlm leads to generate, how many people you can recruit on demand, the number of traffic going to your landing pages and the cost for your mlm leads.

Building a Marketing Budget in Your Home Based Internet Business

By Matthew Chilleri

Many people who get involved in a home based internet business believe that in order to have success one needs a massive marketing budget in place. While a decent marketing budget can certainly help, it is something that can be developed over time. When done correctly, it is entirely possible to have your home based internet business fund itself.

When you start out in your home based internet business and you do not have any real marketing budget in place, it is imperative that you understand how to use and leverage free marketing mediums. Some of the free marketing mediums that we can use initially include article marketing, forum marketing, video marketing, using classified ads, free press releases, blogging, and social bookmarking to name a few. We will use some of these free marketing mediums and methods to drive traffic back to our site. If we can get a decent amount of traffic back to our site and the copy on the site is decent, we should be able to make a sale. When you make your first sale and have some profit to work with, you can then begin building your marketing budget.

As you have now made a sale in your home based internet business, you can now take the profits and reinvest them. Various ways you could invest the profits back into your business include PPC, purchasing solo ads, purchasing print ads, and purchasing a paid press release that has wider distribution. As you invest in some paid mediums and continue to implement the free methods and techniques that brought you your first sale, the result will be more and more traffic being driven to your site. As you steadily increase the amount of traffic that gets to your site and sees your offer, the number of sales you make should also increase. As you make your second and third sale, you can take some of your profits and reinvest them.

This is a really effective method by which to build a marketing budget for you home based internet business. If you can use free methods to give generate a sale or two and then take those profits and reinvest them into your business to drive more traffic and make more sales, you can have your business funding itself. As your marketing budget grows, you will be able to invest more and more money into your marketing and your business. As you continue to make sales, you can continue to take a piece of the profits from each sale and add it to your marketing budget.
